Backrest & Footrest: The Montage Premier massage chair has a motorized backrest and footrest. Both can be reclined or inclined at the push of a button. The Montage Premier massage chair will recline the backrest and raise the footrest simultaneously. The backrest and the footrest also operate independently as well. When the automatic massage is complete, the backrest will reset back to its full upright position and the footrest will lower back down. The Montage Premier massage chair footrest is extendable an extra four (4) inches to accommodate those with longer legs. The front of the footrest can also tilt up to 90 degrees allowing you to put your feet at a comfortable angle.

4 Massage Techniques of the Montage Premier:
Kneading: This massage technique feels like the fingers and thumbs of two hands squeezing in unison as they carefully and methodically work their way upwards to loosen stiffness in the neck and shoulders.
Pressing: The massage rollers go up and down along the spine from your lower back up to your neck and back down, relieving pressure from compressed cervical disks by gently stretching the ligaments of your back.
Tapping: This technique feels like the edges of two hands rhythmically tapping to penetrate into the body and relax your muscles. Tapping is recommended for the tender muscles of the neck or as a finishing massage.
Kneading & Tapping Combination: This massage feels like a pair of thumbs carefully alternating between the right and left sides as they zero in on their target. The kneading helps to loosen up your muscles while the tapping invigorates you. If you are feeling a little stiff this massage technique will rejuvenate you.

Lower Body Traction Function: One advance feature of the Montage Premier massage chair is the lower body traction function. The lower body traction function is designed to elongate (stretch out) the lower body making the muscles more flexible. When the traction function is activated, it gently holds the feet and calves in place. The footrest then lowers to elongate the lower body. The footrest will rise and lower again as part of the stretching program. This stretching feels good for your lower body muscles and joints. Air Pressure Massage System: The Montage Premier massage chair is specially equipped with air bags in the seat and the footrest. The Montage Premier air pressure massage system is specifically designed and programmed to replicate the movements of a massage therapist. Adjustable Footrest: The footrest of the Montage Premier massage chair recliner is extendable to accommodate those with longer legs. The footrest of the Montage Premier can extend out another 4 inches. The front of the footrest for the sole of your feet can also be adjusted. You can pivot the front of the footrest 90 degrees.
Remote Control: The remote control of the Montage Premier massage chair has an advanced LCD display that is simple and easy to use. The remote control has 5 pre-programmed automatic massages which initiate with one touch. With the Montage Premier, the most frequently used functions are located on the front of the remote such as On/Off, Backrest/Footrest recline, music controls and the heat therapy controls. Less frequently used functions are located behind the front left cover. Simply open the left cover and many of the manual functions are located inside for your convenience. The Montage Premier massage chair also has a wireless sub-remote controller. The sub-remote controller slides into a slot onto the right side of the main remote. You can remove the sub-remote control and use its functions without having to move from your relaxed position.
